Free nav updates

Hi all,

I have a 64 plate A5 with tech pack high with Audi connect. In your opinion should this come with free initial map upgrades? The dealers is quoting me 250quid.

The upgrades are free.

You need to set up your myAudi.com account and then download the map upgrades (if applicable) onto a USB or SD card. Instructions are on the myAudi site.

The dealer quoting to do all the work themselves.

When I log on to myaudi I don't have the map upgrade option, hence the issue.

Just found the following, so looks like us A5 owners are out of luck expecting free map upgrades.

Late to the thread but yes it appears that there are no downloadable updates for the A5 range. My car's a bit newer but I also have Connect and I am always on the Google maps version. I have yet to go anywhere where the Nav doesn't match the road. I guess I'll wait until I get mis-matches and they annoy me before paying for an update.
