Changing brake discs

I am going to be changing my brake discs tonight but ive just had a friend tell me that the discs on the A4 have an odd sized Torx style bolt holding them on. Does anybody know if this is the case for A3's aswell?

Also, does anybody know the correct torque settings for the caliper bolts?

I can't remember if torx bolts were involved when I did mine, but if there were any they weren't of an odd size.

If you're doing the rears as well you'll need a caliper rewind tool (~£20 from Halfords) as you won't be able to retract the calipers without one due to the handbrake mechanism. The fronts can be pushed in easily with a bit of wood.

It's a Phillips head on my S3. Just the one.
