Start up ignition too stiff

when i put my key in the ignition, its really hard to turn, i have to turn the steering wheel a bit to the start the car up with the key.

any way to fix this ?

Is the steering lock engaged?

If so that's why it's a little stiff and you have to turn it a little....other than that I can't think of anything else unless the barrel is a little worn.

Steering lock always seems to be engaged. I always have to f*** about with it to turn the key. Never was that stiff in my other cars.

You dont pull on it getting out do you? I seem to get out and pull on tye steering wheel as i do, thus engaging the steering lock.
Try abit of wd40 in the key hole, wont do any harm and be be just what it needs

Ain't pulling on the steering wheel when I get out. I've noticed the indicator stalk doesn't correct itself when I've gone round the corner unless I do almost full lock.
