Probably been done to death this subject apologies, but I was wondering what everyone is getting MPG wise? I'm finding it a hard pill to swallow having to keep fuelling the old girl, and I used to own a tuned Mazda RX 7 so I know what a thirsty car is. I have been testing it with Super Unleaded and then with normal 95 to see if it changes, seems to be slightly better with Super but essentially £20 gets me roughly 80 miles distance, this is a mix of motorway and city driving. This equates to about 20mpg and the MMI is showing around 24mpg. I know my car is a quattro and S Tronic but getting 80 miles to 20quid seems a bit silly, and to he only hitting 20mpg with mixed driving and 25mpg on mainly motorway. I have no fault codes come up, have had the latest oil separator/Pcv valve done. Tyre pressures are all ok, alignment is good. New brakes all round. Can't work out why a modern direct injection 2.0 litre turbo petrol is so bad on fuel??
