Diagnosing Fault Codes

Hi All,

Engine light has been on/off for a while now, about time I looked in to fixing it. Could anyone tell me why this VAG-COM tool is so much cheaper than the ones on Ross-Tech's website?

When you say no support, is this everything from software to if it brakes thats it? Will it still do the job (assuming it works ok)?

Well, it's likely to be using a cracked copy of VCDS (no support or updates), hardware would be of questionable quality and no support from software provider for obvious reasons. You're unlikely to get any support from the crook that is selling the cable either.

I had my original cable for 10 years now and it's still getting firmware and software updates - best piece of tooling you can get for a VAG.
