Audi connect confusion

OK so my S3 is almost here
I looked up the spec on youraudi and it tells me

Audi connect 36mth subscription
Audi connect 3 month trial

So which have I got 3 months or 3 years??

And considering I didn't select any tech pack what would audi connect actually do for me?

I've had the exact same query. On some of my paperwork its says 36 month along with the 3 month trial.
The salesman said it was only 3 months on collection, but if I knew it needed extending then I would've added that to the cost of the car and put it onto the finance.
On the MMI it says my subscriptions end in December, indicating it's only 3 months, so I can foresee a 'discussion' with Audi in the near future.

Nah I'll just stick a data heavy sim in. Will be cheaper in the long run!
