S3 RNS-E - Possible to have iPhone 6 compatibility?

Hi Folks,

I just picked up my 60 plate S3 last weekend but I have noticed I have no way of connecting my iPhone 6 to the car to play music. Are there any retrofit kits available for it? It has MMI in the glove box but I'm not sure if this will be plug and play with an iPhone 6. This is the head unit I have:

Do you mean you have the AMI (Audi Music Interface) unit in the glove compartment? If so you can get the bluetooth streaming cable for your iPhone 6. WMA3000

Or if you want to hardwire you can just search for AMI Lightning Cable

Yeah I've got the unit in the glove box. Will I need to take my car for a software update to run with the iPhone 6?

No it should be just plug and play, I got that Bluetooth one and it's great. Just connect your phone to the bluetooth and all the track info comes up on the display. I didn't need to do anything when I connected my 6 and my 6s
