A3 Grille types.

Looking to get a new grille for my 1999 A3

Some guy is selling one but states its for 1996 - 2003, i was under the impression that from 2000 onwards the grille was a slightly different shape?

could someone just confirm if its the same shape from 96-03?

The grille he is selling is taken from a 2000 A3.

Also i was interested in getting a sports style grille, but with the audi logo/place to put the badge.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

There was one on ebay a while ago, but seems to have dissapeared now.

Cheers for the link, but want a grille with the audi logo, not really into the debadged ones.

Would a 2000 audi A3 Grille fit my 1999 A3? Just wasnt sure if the 2000 grille was a slightly different shape?

Ello mate I picked up a spare grill from ebay (to dechrome). Its a facelift A3 grill (sept 2000 - till 2003) this is what it looks like


the bottom of the grill has a wider band of chrome than the prefacelift so as far as I know it wont fit

He says its from a 2000 model, is there a chance it could fit?

that looks like a pre facelift grill so I reckon it should fit
(nice flooring )
