I admit defeat on this one! I presume that removal of door handles on an 8V is like any other [German] car - ie a torx driver through the hole inside the door into the door handle? Does anyone have the detail on this maybe?
For the rear doors, I can find the access, and I can feel where the bolt should be, but cannot find the size of driver needed - I have tried a philips screw-driver which is no good, and the nearest Torx I can feel trying to do something is a T40 but it is not quite making grip... Does anyone know what type/size the bolt is??
As for the front, there is an oval grommet covering that I presume is the access but there are two holes behind it - one, the outer, appears to be blanked off by a plastic fitting behind the door and the other, inner, hole has a loose metal pug in it. I have a feeling I need this inner hole, but thrown by the metal plug... Does anyone know the procedure and type/size of bolt..?
Help appreciated!
