3.0 TDI Uprated clutches

Hi,

I have a remapped ASB 3.0 tdi a4. Its had a new clutch 5 months ago and already the DMF is humming, trying to work out options so informed input would be greatly appreciated.

What clucthes have others used? I dont want to have to go through this another time.

At the moment its the Sachs organic SMF kit for around £1000 VS an OE sachs dmf with an organic clutch plate for around £700

How much power/torque is the engine running?. What DMF did you have fitted Sachs/ LUK ? .
If you have a Sachs DMF at the moment then swapping it out and fitting the same DMF with an uprated clutch plate won't potentially give you any advantage. The DMF appears to be the weak link so a SMF solution may be the way to go.

Sorry i should have made that clearer, the clutch plate was replaced only as the DMF appeared ok. I believe its a sachs setup on there atm. I've not got a dyno print out but its meant to be 510-530nm. 530 is the rating on the organic clutch plate but cant see any ratings for the dmf.
