Bought an A4 recently, idle took a while to drop etc

So checked the clutch position sensor and it wasn't there! The bracket was snapped and the plug bridged.

Changed the pedal bracket thought it would be easier than it was, but now it's replaced the clutch pedal doesn't depress the switch! The master cylinder out all the way and it still doesn't touch!

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Maybe the clutch switch was broken when the bracket broke, it could be stuck in the depressed position.

All sorted now! I didn't realise you had to pull it out before installing!
Welshquattro sent me a message with installation details

Thanks for your help!
