I just don't get it, a scattering of snow and already we have drivers complaining about the lack of gritting and cars sat wheels up, pathetic:

Winter tyres

And in bl**dy Derbyshire (a fabulous county) in the middle of bl**dy England... :sadlike:

Why oh why don't we make winter tyres a legal requirement - and save the shipping and spreading and washing all of this salt and grit into our waterways...

And if that car ended upside down because of summer tyres in poor weather conditions then I hope his/her insurance company doesn't pay a penny-piece as he/she could well have crashed into me due to his/her own ignorance and stupidity and/or lack of care for themselves or others.

Ha! Feeling much better now and it's only November 18th :racer:

PS: winter rubber on our A1 for 2-weeks now and today winter rubber onto our RS3 and our TT will be done tomorrow - you could say I am passionate about winter rubber and my safety on the road in winter conditions...

C'mon winter weather, bring it on...
