Hi.
I am experiencing some hard DSG shifting in "D" mode.
When using the paddles "M" mode it is mutch smoother.

The car is Golf R mk7/S3 8v
with APR stage 1 with ECU and TCU flash. TCU sw v2.2.1 (I think)

I have full VCDS cable but it seems the procedure for calibration is different from the Mk6/8p platform. Did anyone here do it on the new MQB platform?

Hope to make a sticky thread on "how to" for all to use. So please contribute if you have some info and experience.

Thanks

I'd get onto APR first they seem to be forever tinkering with the TCU software and releasing new versions.

It could be the TCU sw but would like to test TCU calibration to be sure.
Anyone with this experience?

There's a DSG calibration procedure listed on Ross Tech Wiki Page for the Mk7 Golf (same one for A3/S3 8V) as long as it's the DQ250 MQB 0D9 gearbox.

The link on the above page links to a thread on their forum here:

You may also wanna read up this thread as someone has performed some of the reset procedures with good results.

Do post back on your experience and outcome. :)
