tfsi maf sensor query.

now i know ive posted loads of questions and queries about my car and issues.

Ive thought for a while that it was the maf sensor so the other week I borrowed my brothers maf sensor and after 2 days it was running great and carried on for about a week. then it just went rubbish again, so my question is, could it be my luck that my brothers maf just went bad or is it not the maf that's the issue.

thank you all for your continued support. I will one day have my car running how it should be.

have you tried doing any real time data logging via vcds yet Darren, if not then maybe try it, it will give you a better idea of how all the sensors and overall engine parts are running at any given point of time, I think you really need to establish a starting point diagnostic wise and work from there , that way you may find the problem quicker and cheaper than by just replacing parts on a add hock basis.

I had an issue with my MAF, changed it and got a new one and the issue was still there - so all I did was unplug it and kept it that way.
