Guys,
Long story short, got my friends Allroad 2.5tdi. Cluster was shorting out, draining the battery. Immo has been turned off. Got a replacement cluster yesterday but it's from a Manual car. So there is no message on start-up about the 'applying footbrake before engaging gear'
How do I get around this for the time being?
The car will at some point be going to see Tom to have the dash flashed with the firmware off the damaged cluster.
In the Coding 07 section of VCDS, the two codes differ a lot. In terms of what coding is available to the cluster. But there is no mention of Auto or Manual option to add to the coding?
Any pointers please?
