EPC light coming on at high speed

Firstly, let me wish you all a happy new year!

Ever since I flashed my ECU with Stage 2 software, my S3 has been showing an amber EPC light with many faults with driving aids. I've noticed this happening at 160 km/h under WOT acceleration and seems to be hitting a rev limiter and then the engine seems to go into a limp mode with the boost gauge no longer working. It doesnt always happen but when it does it seems to be at the same speed of 160 km/h.

The issue goes away after switching the car off and back on.

No fault codes are showing up on my cheap OBD II bluetooth scanner and would like to know what could be causing the issue.

Used to get similar with my Mk1 Leon Cupra R after it was remapped. It was a combination of sensors surrounding boost, as well as needing a stronger diverter valve than the stock item.

As with yourself, turning the car off and back on would clear the errors.

Same also happened to my friend who had a modified Passat 1.8T.

Happend to my modified 6c polo gti ....... in the end just ended up de-modding and ordering a FL S3

I can't say I've heard of them but that doesn't mean they aren't good.

I've had similar issues but a better map from my tuner sorted out issues I had
