Has my 57 plate 2.0 tdi 170 quattro got dpf?

It should have yes as it was an optional extra on the 140's, but came as standard on the 170's.

Cheers for that, optional extra? Who wants a dpf anyways all I've heard is trouble with them. I'm getting a remap soon but unsure about getting it mapped out? Any one done this?

I had mine remapped with the EGR Delete and she absolutely flew.....but if I didn't give her a good thrashing and only did a few short trips I would then have to start a regeneration which meant driving I didn't really need to do.

I was just going to gut the DPF but I decided to get rid of it and get a straight through pipe. Once I had the DPF delete mapped into it it felt like a new car yet again.

Plenty of threads started in this section recently with regards to the DPF and mapping.

Totally changed the car with dpf delete and a map, with performance and fuel economy!
