Hi there, what are folks getting in block 093 adaptation angle.

My car is showing -6.0KW, I understand it's the correlation between crank position and cam position at start up?

The car is a Lotus Elise running a BWJ engine from a Leon Cupra, I'm getting large amounts of timing pull only under WOT.

No fault codes relating to the timing, slightly lumpy idle but sporadic and not consistent.

The cam belt was changed back in December, the timing pull was happening before the belt change too.
I've checked two work colleagues cars with the same engine and theirs are showing -1 and -2 respectively.

The car is in the garage at the moment and has had the belt timing physically checked and confirmed to be ok with marks all appearing ok.

I've also changed recently: Plugs, coils, cam follower, engine oil, air filter, diverter valve.

Am I chasing a red herring here or could the -6.0KW be contributing to the timing pull?

When the car is back together I'll run a basic settings test on block 094 to confirm the VVT is working ok.

Cheers,

Neil.
