Hello all, My AUDI a5 3.0 TDI just had a full service yesterday. But the issue I have is that the oil check is showing as low oil, even though I know they have changed the oil. Its telling me there is minimum oil and need to top up. I have checked the bonnet sensor it acknowledges that its open.

Any way of getting it to read the oil? I will take it back to the garage to see if they know. Just wanted to see if there was a quick fix.

Thanks

I got a dipstick for mine for just such an incident.

After my recent Audi service mine read over full but ok on dipstick.

Cost about £10 off parts request I think.

damb, so there is no way to fix it? it keeps telling me i need oil, might have to invest in a dip stick. It was fine in previous oil change

Maybe you need oil?

Wouldn't be the first time a garage has underfilled after a service :racer:

Yes i will check it out tomorrow. I gave them 8 liters worth
