Strange whirring noise when slowing down and turning! Help!

The problem is this: Anytime I slow down I hear a strange noise, can't really classify it as squeaking or grinding, but somewhat like a "whirring" sound. The sound happens when i'm either slowing down and gets quiet a bit worse when I turn. My car is 12plate s3 with DSG gearbox. I ask Audi Leicester to take a look at it when it went in for haldex oil change but they couldn't see anything wrong!

Any ideas what it may be?
