Hi All,

the previous ower of my A3 had a dog and i have got rid of the smell from the inside of the car (neutrdol spray is great)

I have used few of those aircon "bombs" but i still get it via the aircon

I think all it needs is a good blast from the external vent into the car.. i have taken a look and cant see it?

Anyone give me a pointer where it is/ pictures would be great - going to do it this weekend

Car = Audi A3 8P 2.0TDI sportsback model (2007)

thanks

Have you replaced the cabin pollen filter?
It's located behind the glovebox and is removed from within the front passenger footwell , it slides down and out once a plastic sliding cover has been removed.
If you haven't replaced yours then the old filter might be harbouring doggy smells which will circulate every time you have the air con on.....might be worth replacing it and giving the housing a wipe out with a damp cloth?
The activated carbon ones are a few pounds extra but are meant to be worth it as they remove more contaminants from the air, they're usually greyish in colour rather than pure white......

Hi mate, already changed that twice..

I reckon te outside vent trick will do it

thanks
