hallo people. ive just registerd as im thinking of getting an audi s3 quattro
i really like the looks of them but i just wont to know if they are the right car for me.
the thing is that i aint got that much to spend on one ive seen a couple i can get on autotrader.com for around 6500, 7000 pounds
also what are they like to run and what insurance groupe are they

thanks people

the thing is on the cars for 7000 is that they have high miles

I think you need to spend at least 8k to get a half decent one. Read the sticky at the top of the forum for a buyers guide.

£55 to fill up and average 300-350 miles a tank more on a motorway. Not too bad on servicing. Not sure as to the insurance group...I pay under £500 at 31.

High miles wouldn't put me off if it had a owner that serviced it well at got the cambelt changed properly at 80k. History is important be it Audi or a specialist.

As with any car that isnt your standard run of the mill make / marque...

Always keep some pennies spare in the bank coz if things do go wrong, they wont cost peanuts to put right!

Not trying to put you off, just being realistic :)

Insurance group 17 IIRC, and there will be a slight premium on the 225 model over the 210 version, but you get the same BHP after a remap.
