Another day another problem.
So intermittently my car will rev itself, or hold higher revs than normal, it's usually if I come up to a junction and push the clutch down it will bounce between 1500-3000 revs over and over until I either cut the engine or lift the clutch and use the revs to pull away.
It happens randomly but the other way is that it just sticks at like 2000rpm and doesn't bounce.
It's had a new MAF for the issue, seemed okay for a couple of weeks then same issue.
Can't find an air leak anywhere, vacuum line from the brake servo is fine and that goes into the intake manifold on this model so I'm imagining that's fine too.
Air box is standard with a pipercross panel filter did this with standard too though.
If anyone has any ideas or has fixed this and can spread some light on this I will forever be in your debt.
