Rim Protectors/Blades/Rings

I was looking into getting some white rim protectors, more to make the car look a little better. I noticed you get some that use adhesive to the rim and others which either clip in or is like an elastic band around the rim.

What are the better ones to use and can you recommend any decent brands or should I just steer clear of them altogether?

I'm using Alloygators on my A5. So far so good, but you need to keep on top of your tyre pressures or they'll start to come out.

Personally not a fan, you'd be better off buying tyres with Rim protection.

Goodyear Eagle f1 asymmetrical 2 have good rim protection and are an amazing tyre.
