1.8tfsi 8p How much hp could you safely run

So 2 questions actually:
1.So, considering 160Hp and the k04 turbo (from what I can find, it has the later 2.0 turbo on it), how much more could I run in order to not require significant engine work?

Which leads to what I actually want to know:
2. Would it be possible to reach 220hp with CAI, downpipe and remap/tune?

i believe a decent remap could easily see you to 200 bhp so with the CIA and downpipe too you shouldnt be far off 220

The 1.8tfsi 160bhp runs a k03 as does the 2.0tfsi only the s3 runs k04. If you was to put a k04 on you'd be looking at 200-210 which is bolt on bolt off so with a decent map 230-250

I was looking into this with my MY09 A3 tfsi last year - stock 160bhp with the k03; a map and CAI would get you to about 210bhp.

The k04, map and CAI will get max 250bhp.

With my 1.8 I had a shopping list that would have cost about £4K to fulfil. At this stage the car would have had less Bhp than a std S3 so I decided to trade for an S3.

Are you on stock parts? Intercooler exhaust intake?
I have seen with revo stg2 perf3 240hp and 410Nm ( exhaust 76-70 mm, intercooler S3, ITG intake) and with a couple turns harder the wastegate.
With K04-64 and full 76mm exhaust, apr intercooler, ITG stab99ld, forge wastegate blue spring it reached 330hp - 450Nm and with the 2.0 injectors it went up another 20 hp and 30Nm.
The 2.0 has different turbo K03s which can go up to 300 hp.

I was going to say I know someone with a 330bhp 1.8 but he doesn't want pics and info about mods up which then would seem like hear say. Always nice to see print outs.

Keep in mind that the K04-64 needs to me moded so it may fit the 1.8 tf.si
