AGU Coilpacks

Hello

Can anyone give some advice please;

I'm trying to narrow down a misfire under load on my Agu and I've replaced everything but the coilpacks just for peace of mind.

Can I use normal CP's or am I stuck with the clip down ones?

I've got a new set from an ajq engine wondered if it was a straight swop...

Ignition amplifier is the typical cause of misfires on the AGU...

You can only use AGU coil pack because of this which are 3 pin bolt down type with the clip... you cannot use the later coil packs with built in ignition amps (bolt down or push in)

...although I do believe you can convert to later coil packs but involves some rewiring etc... the yanks do it a lot on AEB engined A4's
