Airbag light

I had my heater motor replaced so the glovebox was taken off and the airbag was disconnected but once the glovebox was put back on the airbag light on the centre consol went off but the airbag light on the dashboard has stayed on and I've opened the glovebox and turned the switch on and off but still no luck? Anyone know how to turn it off?

You need vcds to turn the light ie clear the code. Not sure if any off the apps can do it.

If ignition remain switched off while airbag is unplugged and plugged back on that light wont come up. As Lee says - check with vcds, it could be something with dash airbag ie connector when it was took off.

I can confirm that I've taken the glove box off a few times with ignition off and no problem with the airbag light.
