Well only 1,000 miles in and I already have a small stone chip on the center of the windscreen. Just noticed tonight after washing the car.

My question is, has anyone here used one of those resign fill kits (3M, Lock-tight ect.)? How well did it work in your experience?

It is a pretty small chip so I think I caught it relatively quickly.

Let me know what remedies you all have tried!

Cheers!

Most insurance companies will have Autoglass repair that for no charge to you.

Check your insurance probably free for a professional to do it. GL

Yes - I wondered what that meant but assumed that because I am over 60 it was a young guys achronym!!
Also the quote is not all mine - has been editted. So all in all I was unsure if I should be offended or not so I just kept quiet :whistle2:

I'm also the wrong side of 60, Richard, and don't have a clue what FTFY stands for......so, come on Glassman, put us old foggies out of our misery, and tell us what this stands for??!! :readit:
