Facelift Stone chip on Windscreen

Well only 1,000 miles in and I already have a small stone chip on the center of the windscreen. Just noticed tonight after washing the car.

My question is, has anyone here used one of those resign fill kits (3M, Lock-tight ect.)? How well did it work in your experience?

It is a pretty small chip so I think I caught it relatively quickly.

Let me know what remedies you all have tried!

Most insurance companies will have Autoglass repair that for no charge to you.

Check your insurance probably free for a professional to do it. GL

Most insurance companies will have nominated a preferred repairer and a lot of policies now require the policyholder to contribute towards the claim, usually between £10 and £25

Yes - I wondered what that meant but assumed that because I am over 60 it was a young guys achronym!!
