No Phone Volume

Whenever I make a phone call using the Bluetooth connection I get no sound in the car and the person at the other end can hear nothing either. I've reset the MMI and it's still the same.

The microphone in the car works as it can take voice commands, seems like the Bluetooth sound isn't working for a call. If I transfer the call to the phone it works fine.

Anyone come across this before? Phone is a Sony Xperia z5 premium.

It isn't just the phone volume is down on the MMI? Start a call and them turn the volume control up.

No tried that, volume on the phone and MMI all the way up. Tried the wife's iPhone too and same thing and also tried a call through Android Auto and same issue again. I can play music over Bluetooth so the issue is just with phone calls, can dial out and receive but once the call is answered there is no audio at either end!
