Earth/ground for Amp in the boot??!

Hey there, just bought new ice for my a3 but problem is I cant find any part of the boot area that gives a good or any ground for the amp. Anyone else hooked up their amp and know where I can find a good ground to get everything up and runnin thanks

id usually go for one of the seatbelt mounts under the rear bench in a car

well i dont know what type of earth wire you have coming off your amp but when i installed my phatnoise i used the one of the bolts that holds the rear light clusters in, which sits again the bodywork when tighten up. The wire has an O ring on the end. You could probably source one from halfords or similar.

use the ground off your "built-in" sub setup (the audi one)

its the thick brown/black wire

thats what i did, worked for me
