key fob programming

just replaced my battery in my 04 s3,
I have 2 keys and have watched videos in youtube but id rather have in black and white from you guys here hopefully that have done it ........
any takers ?!

Can u not do it by opening then locking drivers door with the key and then push any button on the control.
If i remember correctly thats the way i had to do mine.
Think it is alao in the manual.

Adding the key to operate the remote locks is easy enough in VCDS... coding the RFID tag in the key to the dash needs other software... VAGTacho is the one most peeps use I believe
