That is an old thread. Do those settings apply to 2010+ car? I'm asking because I was in process of retrofitting bi-xenon headlights with LED DRLs to my 2012 A3 and what I learned was that coding for facelift models with BCM (2010 and up) is different from coding for cars before 2010. Now I need to code the headlight washers (do I really need it?) and the auto levelling system and I most information I can find is for the pre-2010 cars.
ross-wiki is friend for you then, anyway only major difference is on engine module that got long coding (anyway with long coding helper inside, so program itself explain everything to you) but yes if you want to be legal you need the washer and auto levelling, then if you don't give a sh*t about the law, you don't need it.
