Hi all,

As some of you are aware I've recently replaced my 1.0tfsi for a 1.6 tdi which has only done 8500miles from brand new in Nov 16.

I ordered an Air Filter for my 1.0tfsi just before I decided to get rid of it, as I was planning to change the filter at 20000miles.

However I got the 1.6 instead and managed to get mjr901 (top bloke) to changed my filter order.

Anyway I've just changed the Air Filter on my car at 8500miles and this is the colour of it. Bear in mind this isn't suppose to be changed until 57000miles I'd hate to see the colour of it then.

So the sake of £15 it's definitely worth changing it.

Deffo no I would not, just picked up a low mileage A3 sportback 1600 tai e tronic tech pack 17 model, I'd be surprised is it's not changed every 18 months max :)

57000 miles ??

That's when the Air Filter is first changed. From my previous service books I'm sure it says 57000 miles the for Air Filter change. The current service books don't seem to have additional work stated in them. But I've checked on ElsaWin and it says 90000km so near enough 57000miles .
