Now your post would have come in handy for me anyways as i would have liked to know how you what you just did , some pics would be handy next time you do something please apprentice hereMost of the posts in this thread are mods and nice things people have done, yet every time I do something to mine it's a ****** repair of some sort!
Anyway this week its.... 2 new front wheel bearings (one was dangerous!) 2 new front struts, 2 new front springs, 2 new top mounts, 2 new drop links, and 2 new brake disc backing plates!!
I'd have thought some of that would have been advisory on the MOT last feb but no, despite the shocking state they are all in!
FYI..... not cheap!

Fitted facelift light switch. Made a huge difference. A steal from eBay for £15.
Fitted phone holder from OEM Mounts. Blends into the A3 perfectly. Again worth the £23.
Nicely done, can only the light switch be retro fitted or can the ones in the centre console be done as well?
Do you have a link for the phone holder please? I hate having my magnet block one of the blowers.
The ones in central console as in climate control? In which case have a look at http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/how-to-facelift-chome-climate-control-module-switches.146018/
The magnetic holder is from OEM Mounts:

I was looking at this, what did you pay for it?
What to buy for yourself ? 12 I paid
ah, you did it yourself. I was hoping to get someone to do it for me. Could do with a detail first then this. Have been using Wolf's Chemicals Bodygaurd in the past.

(Mostly) changed non-red lights/bulbs to led. finished android install with rear camera/sensor plate, tpms, dab+ and dashcam.
Nice! I see you've been posting on this. How's the end result? Worth it?
Let us see it installedGot the Wheel back from Jack @ Royal Steering Wheels. Excellent workmanship and the Alcantara feels great. Can't wait to get it on this weekend.

Decided to paint them the same colour as the R32 ones as I think blue looks better on my car than red.

As i stood back and looked at the colour I thought to my self, WTF have i done!! They looked s***! The shade of blue was terrible.
Took them to get sandblasted and picked up a better shade of blue.
Repainted them. They now look a lot better. Fitted them with some new Goodridge hoses all round.
Also had to replace the rear calipers as one was seized and the other was leaking fluid!!
