Urgent help needed with front wipers!

Hi all, anyone able to shed some light on my latest feck up?! I've just fitted a new wiper motor and stripped and greased my linkage. The wipers now park 1/2 way up the screen and go DOWN before going up to swipe the screen! If I move the wipers down so they're not 1/2 way up the screen they crash into the scuttle panel when used so I've had to leave them where they are. Help quite desperately needed now lol
Prefacelift S3 if it makes a difference.

Exact same issue I had, you need to fit the motor in the home position. I think I just sorted by trial and error which was a pita. Bolt wiper on, unbolt wiper and on and on lol

Cheers dude, I think I need to remove the motor from the linkages and move the arm that connects the two by 90 degrees. That's the only thing I can think to explain why it goes down rather than up first lol
