Hi All,

New to the forum,

Just picked up a 2011 a3 s-line (140) in mint condition... The car is ex fleet and has presumably sat on the motorway for most of its life, resulting in a front bumper which looks shot blasted, and 140K miles on the clock. Other than this, full Audi service history with cam belt and water pump changed, the car drives 100% and the interior looks like new!

( Firstly APOLOGIES, as i know this question has been done to death). I would like to pay a visit to shark to get the DPF removed (as i'll not be doing that many miles) and a stage 1 map wouldn't go a miss to liven it up a little.

Has anyone has any luck with remapping (what i would call) a high miler ? I'm guessing removing the DPF would also allow a little more power than just a stage one map alone ?

Thanks,

Rich.

Remapped my old A3 TDI with 167k. Put another 100k on car with no issues other than wear and tear.

As long as car maintained well you will be fine.

Dpf removal and remap will transform car.

Thanks for the reply, did you manage that on the standard (original) clutch ?

Rich
