Beep when locking car

Hi i have recently coded a remote flip key into my 1998 A3 t sport, and i was londering if any1 knows what the soft code changes are to enable the locking over 15mph and beeping the al;arm when locking etc! also how the whole softcode changing thingy works! cherers kef

Hi mate,try this site.This was what i used to recode mine.I found the door auto lock to be rather annoying and took it back off.

Then go into the tt info,then to vagcom coding scroll down from there and you will come across central locking.hope this helps

[Select] -> [35-Cent.Locks] -> [Coding] (or [Recode] on older versions)

To enable Auto-Lock: add 32 to your existing Coding.

To enable the beep when locking: add 1024 to your existing coding. This only works if your car was equipped with a factory alarm system.
