£377 was for 5 years. My bad. 4 years cover is a lot cheaper than 5 years cover!

You sure? I've just checked and based on £37,275 5yr cover and £30k claim limit I get ALA quoting £448... gapinsurance.co.uk quoting £367 (unlimited claim limit) - both prior to discount. Though yes, you're right. 4 years cover is quite a saving over 5 years. I tried shortfall.co.uk but they don't quote for 5yrs.

I got 4 years cover with £30k claim limit from ALA for £209.65.

I priced matched ALA with the same figures from shortfall.co.uk.

Time to get my GAP sorted.

Got a quote of £377 from ALA on Replacement Plus but Shortfall quoted me £237.54. Does this mean ALA should drop their price to £209.65?!

I've dropped them an email to see what they say.

Just got 4 years cover vehicle replacement plus, 30k limit, for £172 from ALA, priced matched with totallossgap and beaten by 20%
