Notice that when I tried to use the rear window washer that nothing was happening but I still heard a gush of water, it turns out that there was a hole in the piping half way up the drivers side pipe see attached pictures.

Now It seems like this leak has cause damage to the rear demister as well, I did notice that this wasn't working and this is the reason why.

Question is, now that I have cut the offending hole out of the piping how to I join them back up? I am looking for suggestions here, so any welcome at all.

Also what would be involved in getting the rear demister to work again, I have noticed that the right hand side control unit? has been taken out, presumable to stop more damage being done by trying to turn it on.

Cheers

@LEE69

Thanks for the reply

Even though the hose is not a rubber hose?

It's a plastic ridged hose if you follow me, I tried to join them with a single piece of rubber hose I had but it ended up popping off.

Yeah should ok only pennies anyway push fit i bet

Ok,

Will have a try and that but there is a space that needs to be filled where I cut the burnt bit out, this gap is about 4cm in length.

just get the air pipe whilst there too, to join it, be fine for water

Anyone got any advice on the rear demister, ideas how I can fix it?

Cheers
