S3 seats

Will the s3 seats from a w reg car fit an a4 (b5),obviously just the fronts ???

I believe the S3 Recaro's are the same as the S4 ones so they should fit. Not sure if the S3 and S4 have different subframes though.

I thought the S3 seats were a little narrower?

You might be right chris, ive just had a look on etka and some of the S3 recaro parts are different to the S4 ones. The sub frame is definately different. If the S3 seats are narrower than the S4 ones then surely they should fit aslong as you get the right subframes

I had a feeling the sub frames would be different,maybe the part numbers are differnt between the s4 and s3 due to the s3 seat tilting forward to let peole in the back ??

You may be right about the tilt being the reason for the differences.

Thanks for the link,im sure it will come in handy in the future. i will do some research on the seats at the weekend .
