Reverse camera interference

Just installed a reverse camera and it seems fine when the engine is off, when I start the engine and put it into reverse I am getting a lot of interference , parallel lines and jumping


Anyone any ideas

Rewire the camera to use constant 12V. Had the same issue on my 8P.

No problem mate. It took me 15+ days to figure this out when I firstly installed my camera, was a nightmare.

I've been having the same problem. My original camera worked great but I had to replace it, the replacment was the same model but only worked when the engine was off.

It's because if you wire it anywhere where CAN-BUS is active it will get disabled upon engine startup thus finding a constant 12V where CAN-BUS is not active is crucial. If I recall correctly mine was hooked to wiper feed as well.
