New Clutch 2.0 tdi

Hello all

Has anyone else with a 2.0 tdi had to put a new clutch in their car? The wife used the car yesterday and came back saying the car smells and I think it's a bit sick?

Yep stunk of clutch burning and still stinks this morning

So I've asked for a quote this morning from my local VAG specialist but just thought I'd ask if anyone else has had to change theirs and how much was it?

I'm estimating about £1200 :-(

No it's standard 150 bhp S-Line 2.0 tdi

Is that fitted or just for the parts?

Fitted as far as I'm aware, how old is the car?

Just over 3 years old now, I wondered if i should renew the flywheel as well at the same time though?

That's something I'm not too sure about sorry mate, probably worth asking when it goes into the garage.

Yes renew the 74k old DMF .

My local VAG specialist has quoted me 1k to supply and fit a new clutch and dual mass flywheel.
