Good evening All,
My new Avant 2.0 Ultra Sport came with 225 x 50 x R17's 10 days or so ago. I checked the pressures today & found then in the low 20's (psi). So I looked at the settings on the drivers door & then the manual. 41f, 38r. So I pumped them up & the ride is now quite harsh?
But there's another recommendation for lightly loaded. Should I be dropping pressure to this?

Confused of Huddersfield.

Yes, 30 front 28 back, max for that size is 35 F and 38B if four adults and luggage so whats the 41F?

Interesting. That's a different sticker to mine! Photo later.

OK didn't realise that it was different but I assume both will have multiple pressures.

Good news is that I can enjoy 30F and 28R so deliciously comfy. :sign yum:

The diesel engine is heavier than the 1.4l petrol engine, the petrol engine car has a unladen curb weight of 1395kg and the 2.0l diesel ultra engine has a unladen weight of 1505kg.I guess 110kg's, or 17 stones, makes all the difference.

Yes that's the average weight of an middle-age Audi driver. :sign imnew:

Only joking of course... I'll be one of them in a few weeks so I'd better start the diet.
