Hi everyone,

As the thread title suggests

I want to put an S line DSG 3 spoke steering wheel into my 2016 A3 SE dsg which currently has the 4 spoke SE steering wheel

Has anyone done this? And if so, can you advise me on what needs to be done, what needs to be changed etc?

Thanks

Its a common retrofit, get a flat bottom steering wheel (make sure you get it from the correction generation - the one with the additional button)

And it will need an airbag but just remove the old one (safely) and connect the new one in.

Thanks for your reply

Are you sure that's all there is to it?

And please fill me in with what you mean by 'correction generation with extra button'

Thanks

this is the incorrect one
as you can see its missing a button on the left of the scroll wheel

Correct one with the button (minus the paddle shift)

Thanks buddy, so it should be a straight fit, no adapters or adaptations needed?

This is the steering wheel I have on it at the moment
