Audi s3 2012 clutch sticking to floor

I have a problem with my s3. The car was driving perfectly fine and just in the last few days the problem developed. My clutch felt like it's lost pressure and just sort of flops to the floor and sits just above the biting point.

It's difficult to put into gear and sometimes doesn' go into gear. The car was driving very well before this.
I got it shown to a garage who said master cylinder, I think he bled it but he literally just opened the nipple and pumped the clutch abit

Any ideas guys as I really miss driving the car need it sorted.

I have this last year, clutch can't release anymore. End up change full clutch package, but only slave cylinder leaking oil.

I'e been told if my brakes are working it can't be my master cylinder. Is this correct?

Today the clutch fell straight to the flour and I couldn't get the car in gear. After pumping the clutch I eventually got it into gear and parked the car up.

I would say find the source of oil leak and fix it. Did you find the oil in floor or around gearbox/clutch?

Hi guys

I sent my car ibto a specialist in Birmingham whom have resolved this issue.

They said they had to bleed the clutch and all is well and they also did 4 wheel alignment. They have charged me £190 sounds abit expensive to me for bleeding the system and alignment?

What does everyone think?

Depends on how long the alignment took, the clutch bleeding would have taken 1/2 hour at the max.
My Westfield took 3 hours for full alignment and cost £230 but there more adjustable things to do.

Well this didn' sort the issue out. He said there was a littpe leal at the nipple by the master he changed that and peddle came back but soon after went again.

He now thinks it's pressure plate??
