had anyone had a call about the heater wire recall? Had call from Audi other day about booking in to get changed on my 2012 B8.5. Said it would take around 2 hours.

What’s involved with it and has anyone had it done?

Chris

There is an extra electrical heater that is used to give warm air whilst the engine is cold . Looks like there may be a connection issue on the heater resulting in a possible fire.

Hmm i wonder if itll make mine heat up any quicker.

Looked in the dash settings and aux heater is set to auto (sure it wasnt set at all when I first got the car) so wonder if can get it warming up quicker instead of shivering in the cold for 4 mile before the heat finally starts to come through.
