has anyone tried the seat sport 4 pot calipers - they fit 312 discs and carriers

They are AP Racing based on CP6600 like mine only lug mount not radial mount...

Thanks Tuffty, so they are better than standard S3/TT 312 Calipers and fit the carrier's and discs and the right size for the master cylinder?
But I would need new pads.

Dunno tbh... most people that have Ibiza Cupras with these brakes say they aren't that brilliant... you need bigger rotors IMO... 323mm or 330mm to improve the braking... 312mm are a bit small on a heavy car like an S3 or in your case a TT...

What about this: eBay item number: 173242564064
Its a bit more expensive, but super effective.

lol - a least someone is actually posting in this 'ere forum now. I thought the forum must be broken rather than the S3s for once! #oppositesday

these are too expensive.

I got new tyres today, only premium budget jinyu YU63 (These are not the YU61 hard plastic things) I had them on my S3 for a couple of years although I did get a couple of punctures (they are quite soft and gravel cut into them) but I liked them for £50 each.

What "sort of" annoyed me a bit is the RSTT are 8J but it already had 225/40-R18 but you can put on 235/40 on - which I was considering but I put back on 225s as they only had two 235s in stock.

Suppose, I should try and change the haldex filter and oil tomorrow assuming it is not too rainy but have a easter visit to do on sunday and dont want a hiccup to get in the way, so may leave it until Monday, along with trying a different MAF + changing brake light switch and clutch switch. really could do with hovering the TT.

has anyone ever tried to rattle can alloy wheels?

has anyone tried to touch up roof rails?

Blimey good value - how much did you pay to recondition yours?

Problem is I have just bought and fitted brembo discs and pads on the front. - those seat sport calipers bolt straight on

I was thinking of doing the s4 conversion on the rear

I got the 18z with new boxed hel lines and and adapters £300
New seals £35
New pad clips and bleed nipples £30
Sand blasting and powder coat £40 I just got to strip the old seals out and drop them off at powder Coaters
Disc are the expensive part at around £350 for the 2 piece disc or 170 for mtec grooved disc
