Audi A3 lights on dash

Hi, I have a Audi A3 2007, I noticed this morning I have two lights on dashboard, EPC and emissions control lamp any idea of what to check? It has some fancy exhaust and K and N air filter but have no idea on cars haha

Hi had an MOT today and it was the back box could this have cause the lights on dash have been quoated £220 to fix?
