Hello All..

Quick question to see if anyone’s had this before. Or I f there are any pointers on how to fix

My driver side, passive? Speaker (the biggun’ in the door, next to your leg) isn’t putting out any sound.

I’ve done output tests on vcds, everything works bar that one, which I thought was odd. Assuming a blown speaker, ordered a second hand one, although a bit newer. Swapped them over, same deal. No sound.

A bit miffed I started taking the loom tape off for the wires.. got half way through, but no issues to note.

Anyone had this before and fixed? Or have any pointers?

Im having similar issues with my passenger side speaker.

Sometimes works, mostly doesn't but all tests show normal.

Wires in the A post to door gaiter may be broke, it's a common fault so look in there.

Yep will do, thanks for the pointer.

Spent the day looking at it willfully, although it didn't fix itself... i came to that being a likely place. Perfect time to, when the window regulator gets changed out..
