Hi all!

This looks a pretty cool forum

I have finally decide that my next car will be an A3 TDi Quattro

I have driven one the other week and was very impressed indeed, there is one I am going to look at on Sunday and if all is ok I will get it!

If anyone could give any advice of what kinda things to look for it would be much appreciated

What model A3 are you looking at, 8L (old shape) or 8P (new shape)?

It is an older shape, 02 plate, I was really after a 5 door model but they seem to be like rocking horse's, lol,

Does anyone know when they changed to white dials?! The 03 one I looked at had them, but the 02 doesnt seem to, and also did they all have black headlining?

8L TDi quattys are hard to find full stop

The black headlining was part of the Sport spec, so all quattros will have it. Note sure about the white dials; it may have been the original owner's choice on the spec sheet.
